Dave Longo is an Australian guitarist who has worked with many artists including Doug Parkinson, Marcia Hines, Guy Sebastian, Human Nature, The Pope, Anja Nissen and The McClymonts to name a few. He was also a regular member in the house bands of the TV shows "Voice - Kids" and "Australian Idol", and has worked for Sony Australia performing with their artists live and on recordings.

As a child Dave played drums and piano, then in his teens discovered rock music and moved to guitar. Following high school he went on to study music at the University of New England in Lismore learning much from the many great teachers there. After graduating from UNE with a Bachelor of Music, he moved to Sydney to begin his professional career.

In 2008 Dave joined The Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Rozelle (formerly AICM) as a lecturer and Guitar tutor. During his time there he set up their Contemporary and Jazz improvisation syllabus and for 5 years ran ensembles and taught classes.

As an extremely versatile performer Dave's week can consist of playing Blues, Jazz, Rock and Funk gigs as well as recording and producing for projects.

He also has a small addiction to guitar and studio gear which he is currently seeking help for............
